11.1 Permission Structure Overview
The BOX uses a hierarchical permission system designed to maintain security while enabling collaboration. Each role is tailored to specific use cases and responsibilities within the innovation process.
11.2 Role Definitions
Admin
Primary Use Case: Company setup and overall platform management
Current Limitation: Only the first user created for any company. No additional admins can be created at this time.
Permissions:
- Full Platform Access - Can perform all actions across the entire platform
- Destructive Operations - Can delete projects, accounts, and other critical data
- User Management - Can invite new users and assign roles
- Company Configuration - Can modify company-wide settings and integrations
- Data Oversight - Access to all projects, insights, and company data
Responsibilities:
- Initial platform setup and configuration
- User onboarding and role assignment
- Platform maintenance and security oversight
- Strategic decision-making on platform usage
Full User / Company User
Primary Use Case: Core innovation team members who need comprehensive access
